Russuan shared values visa and temporary residence permit
On August 19, 2024, the President of Russia issued a decree on the simplified issuance of visas and temporary residence permits in Russia for persons who share traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.
To obtain a temporary permit, you can apply for a single-entry ordinary private visa for up to 90 days.
These visas are issued for entry into the Russian Federation in order to subsequently apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the issuance of a temporary residence permit without taking into account the quota for obtaining a temporary residence permit and without submitting a document confirming proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of the history of Russia and the basics of its legislation.
A temporary residence permit in Russia gives the right to:
Australia, Austria, Albania, Andorra, the Bahamas, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain (including the crown possessions of the British Crown and British Overseas Territories), Germany, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Micronesia, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Romania, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, Slovenia, United States of America, Taiwan (China), Ukraine, Finland, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, Japan.

A temporary residence permit in Russia gives the right to:
- To live and work in Russia for 3 years.
- Enter and leave the country an unlimited number of times.
- To work under an employment and civil law contract in the subject (region) of the Russian Federation in which the RVP was issued.
- To engage in business, register limited liability companies (LLC) and obtain the status of an individual entrepreneur (IE).
- To use free medical care in a medical clinic at the place of residence.
- Get a residence permit in Russia (residence permit) after 8 months of residence in the country.
